Ave Layehl

Some projects start as code. Ave Layehl started as a feeling.

Built for my sister - a writer who deserved a space that actually felt like hers - Ave Layehl is a personal blogging platform designed around warmth, comfort, and quiet beauty. Think late nights, soft light, a hot drink, and words that matter. The name itself carries a softness to it, and every design decision was made to honour that.

The stack is modern: Next.js for a blazing-fast reading experience, TypeScript for a codebase that won't fall apart, Tailwind CSS for precise, expressive styling, and Supabase as the backbone - handling auth, database, and storage without the overhead. Every piece was chosen intentionally.

Ave Layehl is still under construction - a living project that grows as the stories do. But even in its current form, it already feels like home.
